MR. Michael Williams

President
Michael Adeniyi Williams attended the renowned Our Lady of Apostles, in Yaba, Lagos and he is a member of the 77/82 St Gregory’s College Old Boys (St. Augustine House). He was the President of the Literary and Debating Society 1977-1980. He is a graduate of Law from the University of Hertfordshire with majors in Medical Law. He is also a member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers. Michael has over 25yrs experience in both senior financial management and executive management in organisations that span various sectors. He once worked as Group Treasurer of Europcar UK from 1999 – 2006, General Manger Europcar Nigeria 2006 – 2008, Chief Operating Officer of Westcom Technology & Energy Services Limited (Nig) 2008 – 2013. He is currently working as a Financial Analyst and Change Agent with various Trusts in the NHS aimed at delivering financial value in the wake of funding cuts. His role involves debt management; risk management and analysis; cash management; budget revision and supervisory oversight over a team within the functional finance team. Michael is married to Iyabode and they have two children. He loves travelling, meeting people, reading and writing, family history research and keeper of family repository.

MR. Anthony J OSIJO

Vice President
Anthony is a globally experienced investment banker who has had an extensive portfolio of responsibilities in finance, financial services and associated industries over the course of his career. He has lived and worked in four continents. A proud Gregorian, Anthony has been involved in various versions of the UK Alumni and currently serves as our Vice Chairman. Outside of his family his other great passion is supporting Liverpool FC.

MR. Tony Oguike

Financial secretary
Tony Oguike currently consults as the Head of Finance Systems at one of the UK’s leading wellbeing establishments. He also runs a part time accounting practice “Anthony Stephen & Co.” established in 2001. Tony has held various senior roles across several fortune 500 establishments (Including AXA, GE & AMEX) Following ST Gregory’s College, Ikoyi Lagos. He obtained a BSC in Statistics from the University of Nigeria and on his return to the UK he qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant, Tony also holds an MBA from Manchester Business School (Class of 2002). Tony is Married to his wife of 25 years, and is blessed with three lovely children (Kachi, Dubem & Kemka). He enjoys playing squash and has a keen passion for cycling.

Henryson Oladipo Balogun is an Entrepreneur in Direct Marketing, Direct Creative Management in areas of Technology, Music, Catwalks & the Film Industry with years experience. Background in Law, Software engineering and Industry System/ Business management along with key Business Management knowledge. MS. Dunni Shonde

Assistant PR
Dunni Shonde attended Holy Child College for her secondary education and studied for her A levels at St Gregory’s College Obalende. She went to the UK to study and obtained a BA in Financial Services from Guildhall University and Masters in Management from Walden University. She has worked at Credit Suisse, BNY and State Street within Investment Administration and Project Management. She loves going to the theatre and is ardent traveller .

MR. ADEWOLE OLUMIDE ADENIJI

I was in St Gregory’s College from 1975 to 1980 when I obtained my Ordinary Level Certificate. I then started in the lower sixth form in 1980 but left for the University of Jos in 1981 to read Economics. After completing my first degree I worked for Akintola Williams and Co before deciding to emigrate to the United Kingdom. I had a career change along the way by completing a master’s degree program in Information Technology and I have been working as an independent consultant in the technology space for over twenty years.

MR. John Ayodele da Rocha-Afodu (77-83)

Lawyer/Entrepreneur
Many generations of my family attended Greg’s. This strong pedigree is illustrated by my father finishing at Greg’s and temporarily returning there to teach after his A levels. After leaving Greg’s I attended Downside School, Bath, England, and became a double Old Gregorian on leaving there. At present, I am In House Counsel and Compliance Office for Apex Resources Ltd, a construction employment agency, T4M Agritec Ltd, and several other Companies. I’m a freelance solicitor in a solicitors firm where I do immigration, employment, family and litigation work and I also work as an independent self-employed solicitor. I run and own some businesses. I enjoy travelling, football, rugby, motor racing, exercising/wellbeing activities. Stock picking, having an eye for business and using my legal skills to help the vulnerable and disadvantaged to be reunited with their families etc, where others have given then no chance, are a few of my passions.

Anthony Babatunde Shogaolu

Anthony Babatunde Shogaolu - General Secretary for the UK Alumni. I left the college in 1995. I currently serve as the executive office conduit to ensure information is fluid between the executive and members on all our programs and plans. I am passionate about the school as I was groomed to have a strong Christian character and discipline which has shaped me in all aspects of my life.
